Frequently asked questions about gas

Can my gas supply be interrupted when I change supplier?

A supplier change does not itself interrupt supply. The statutory supply arrangements apply in the event of a supplier-related gap. The selected supplier is responsible for the new supply contract.

How do you determine my annual consumption?

We use the consumption in kilowatt-hours shown on your latest bill, together with the information you provide. This is more relevant than relying solely on a generic estimate.

Can I change during a current contract?

That depends on your contract term, cancellation rights and any applicable deadlines. We review the details available to us; the contract documents and supplier confirmation remain decisive.

Can you discuss alternatives to a gas boiler?

We can discuss whether it may be useful to explore options such as a heat pump or a combination with photovoltaic systems. A suitability assessment depends on the building and requires individual review.
